CARRIE HOSHAW
Director & Lead Teacher
Ms. Carrie has a degree in Child Development from the University of Idaho. She started working for Cloverdale over twenty years ago and received her AMS certification in 2006. She has been one of the lead teachers for over fifteen years and was promoted to Director in 2024. She also serves as one of our upstairs teachers working primarily in the language arts/math classroom.
Amy Seskes
Lead Teacher
Ms. Amy moved to Boise from Virginia 15 years ago. She has a degree in English from Radford University. She completed her Montessori training in 2005 at Northern Virginia Montessori Institute. Amy has been with Cloverdale Montessori for over 13 years and teaches in the downstairs classroom.
Vania Diaz
Lead Teacher
Ms. Vania was born and raised in Lima, Peru. She studied photography and filmmaking at the institute Centro de la Imagen. After finishing her studies she started volunteering at a Children Cancer Foundation "Albergue Frida Heller", where she decided to switch careers into Early Childhood Education. She moved to Canada in 2015 where she got her ECE Certificate from Vancouver Career College and Business Management at BCIT. She grew up in the martial arts world and has years of experience in self-defense, previously being a martial art instructor for kids, and holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a Blue belt in Jiujitsu, and several years in Muay Thai. Her other hobbies include relaxing while doing hot yoga, playing the guitar, writing, painting and being in nature as much as possible. Vania moved to Idaho in 2022 and joined Cloverdale in 2023, where she now teaches practical life and sensorial in the upstairs classroom.
Krystle Gossett
Lead Teacher
Ms. Krystle grew up in the Central Valley of California. She received her AMS Montessori training through the Montessori Teacher Education Center-San Francisco training center and began teaching Montessori pre-school in 2015. She moved to Boise in 2019 with her two daughters, both of whom are Montessorians. Ms. Krystle joined Cloverdale in 2024, where she teaches in the downstairs classroom.
Bridgid Heiliger
Assistant Teacher
Ms. Bridgid grew up in San Diego, California. She joined Cloverdale in 2023 and says that freeing time for the lead teachers to focus on the children gives her a sense of accomplishment, and she delights in getting to learn, observe, and teach using the Montessori philosophy.
Angelena Acosta
Assistant Teacher
Ms. Angelena grew up in Culver City, California. She joined Cloverdale in 2022. She is a nurturer at heart and enjoys interacting with all the kids, teaching them, and pouring into them. She is attending college now and majoring in psychology. She is still deciding on what career to pursue, but what is certain is that she has a heart for children and wants to help them in her career field.
Mary Swanke
Assistant Teacher
Ms. Mary grew up in the Treasure Valley and joined Cloverdale in 2023. She began teaching in 1999 at Nampa High School and has taught about every age group since then. She is a certified Idaho K-8 teacher and also works part-time for an online pubic school. She loves being with the kids and experiencing their joy and excitement for life. Her daughter, Maggie, is a teacher's aid at the school.
Rosemarie Schwarzenberger
Spanish Teacher
Rosemarie received her Montessori certificate through Caspari Montessori Institute in Boise. She graduated from Boise State University with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, Applied Linguistics, and Bilingual Education and a Bachelors in Spanish and is an Idaho-certified bilingual teacher, K-12, in both English and Spanish. Rosemarie has been involved in education her whole life, and is also the founder and instructor of Languages Unlocked, where she teaches Spanish and English throughout the Treasure Valley and online.
Bethany Cluff
Music Teacher
Cloverdale Montessori's partnership with Musical Kids goes back decades. Miss Bethany is the Owner and Director of Musical Kids and has been the school's instructor since 2022. She has been teaching music to kids of all ages for over 20 years. Her weekly schedule includes everything from private music lessons to high school choir classes. Teaching music is a highlight of her life as she is able to see children learn the joy of raising their voices to create beauty in our world.
Marie & Tim Schwarzenberger
Owners
Marie and Tim assumed ownership of Cloverdale Montessori School in September of 2022. Marie has an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in Human Development & Family Studies and a graduate degree from Loyola University in Social Work with a Concentration in Children & Families. She has formal experience teaching pre-school and has also been a home educator for over 15 years. Tim has a degree in Finance from Idaho State University and handles much of the behind-the-scenes operations and finance. He is passionate about education and volunteers as a youth hockey coach. Their daughter, Mae, is currently enrolled in the school.
