CARRIE HOSHAW
Director & Lead Teacher
Ms. Carrie has a degree in Child Development from the University of Idaho. She started working for Cloverdale over twenty years ago and received her AMS certification in 2006. She has been one of the lead teachers for twenty years and was promoted to Director in 2024. She also serves as one of our lead teachers.
Amy Seskes
Lead Teacher
Ms. Amy moved to Boise from Virginia 17 years ago. She has a degree in English from Radford University. She completed her Montessori training in 2005 at Northern Virginia Montessori Institute. Amy has been with Cloverdale Montessori for over 15 years and is a lead teacher in the downstairs classroom.
Vania Diaz
Lead Teacher
Ms. Vania was born and raised in Lima, Peru. She studied photography and filmmaking at the institute Centro de la Imagen. She moved to Canada in 2015 where she got her Early Childhood Education Certificate from Vancouver Career College and Business Management at BCIT. Vania relocated to Idaho in 2022. She completed her Montessori training and certification at Eagle Montessori Academy in Early Childhood Montessori and is one of the lead teachers for our upstairs classroom.
Bridgid Heiliger
Lead Teacher
Ms. Bridgid grew up in San Diego, California. She delights in being a life-long learner and teaching using the Montessori philosophy and making wonderful use of her singing voice and artistic talents. She received her American Montessori Society Early Childhood Credential from Eagle Montessori Training Academy and is a lead teacher in the upstairs classroom.
Kristine Van Buskirk
Lead Teacher
Ms. Kristine was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and comes to Cloverdale Montessori from Bellevue, Washington. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and brings nearly 30 years of experience working with young children. Kristine has spent many years in Montessori classrooms supporting preschool and kindergarten students and has worked in several Montessori programs throughout her career. She has a special love for fostering creativity through lessons about artists and musicians and serves as an Assistant Teacher in our classroom.
Kylie Singleton
Lead Teacher
Ms. Kylie was born and raised in New Zealand, where she earned her Bachelor of Education in Elementary Teaching. She taught a variety of grade levels in New Zealand, Asia, and the Middle East before moving to the United States to raise her family. Her experience includes both Montessori and traditional classroom settings, giving her a broad and thoughtful approach to supporting children as they learn and grow. Kylie earned her Montessori teaching diploma through NAMC and is passionate about helping children develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Angelena Acosta
Assistant Teacher
Ms. Angelena grew up in Culver City, California. She joined Cloverdale in 2022. She is a nurturer at heart and enjoys interacting with all the kids, teaching them, and pouring into them. She is attending college now and majoring in psychology at Boise State University. She is still deciding on what career to pursue, but what is certain is that she has a heart for children and wants to help them in her career field.
Bethany Cluff
Music Teacher
Cloverdale Montessori's partnership with Musical Kids goes back decades. Miss Bethany is the Owner and Director of Musical Kids and has been the school's instructor since 2022. She has been teaching music to kids of all ages for over 20 years. Her weekly schedule includes everything from private music lessons to high school choir classes. Teaching music is a highlight of her life as she is able to see children learn the joy of raising their voices to create beauty in our world.
Marie & Tim Schwarzenberger
Owners
Marie and Tim assumed ownership of Cloverdale Montessori School in September of 2022. Marie has a B.S. in Human Development & Family Studies from the University of Illinois, an MSW from Loyola University of Chicago, and is a licensed clinical social worker. She has experience teaching pre-school and has also been a home educator for over 15 years. Tim has a degree in Finance from Idaho State University and handles much of the behind-the-scenes operations and finance. He is passionate about education and volunteers as a youth hockey coach. Their youngest daughter is currently enrolled in the school.
