SCHOOL TOURS

Cloverdale Montessori is now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year. Call the school today and schedule a tour to learn more about our program. Our ideal tour times are 9:30 or 10:30am, Monday through Thursday. These are the best times to view how our students and teachers interact in the classroom (other times can be arranged). We look forward to hearing from you soon!

The Trinomial Cube. So many learning opp

Both the upstairs and downstairs classrooms have Halloween themed work out this month. Our geography focus area in both classrooms includes learning the names of the seven continents and a general overview of geography.

For science, downstairs students will be learning about bones of the human body this month. They will also be exploring spiders and bats. Upstairs students will be learning geology as part of their science studies. They are also doing a lot of work with pumpkins and will be dissecting one toward the end of the month.

ENROLLING NOW  2021-2022

Cloverdale Montessori School sits on a large property. Our spacious classrooms offer a full range of Montessori materials that are safely sanitized after use and disinfected at the end of the day.  We have positioned our seating areas to allow for ample space, allowing children to work safely but cohesively.

MONTESSORI CURRICULUM
AND MATERIALS

Cloverdale Montessori offers a child-centered, thoughtfully prepared environment, organized by subject area, including: Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language and Culture. The Montessori materials in these areas promote the gradual layering of knowledge through repetition and practice.  Children enjoy freedom of movement and choice to explore the materials in these areas and discover learning through hands-on experience.  As children progress through the program, they develop concentration, social skills, care for the environment, respect for others, concentration, and a strong academic foundation.
