ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Changing the World
Ever since 1986, Cloverdale Montessori School has been providing students with a rich and diverse learning environment. Our unparalleled teaching methods help to launch students into the successful future they have always dreamed of. We always encourage both staff and students to grow, learn and create each passing day.
SCHOOL TOURS
Cloverdale Montessori is now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year. Call the school today and schedule a tour to learn more about our program. Our ideal tour times are weekday afternoons from 3:30 - 5:30, when we meet one-on-one with parents and their child. We present the child with several beginning Montessori lessons, and show the family around the school and outside play area. These are the best times to tour the school and meet with our staff and the other children. Additionally, if parents would like to have their child participate in a typical morning work period, we would be happy to arrange for a further visit upon completion of the initial afternoon tour, when the parents can observe their child and the other students and teachers interact in the classroom. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
OPEN ENROLLMENT STARTS APRIL 1ST
Cloverdale Montessori School's enrollment process begins with a tour of the school. We would like you to become acquainted with our school, ask questions and receive your own personal orientation.
After you have taken the tour, reead through the enrollment packet and look through this website for more information.
MONTESSORI CURRICULUM
AND MATERIALS
Cloverdale Montessori offers a child-centered, thoughtfully prepared environment, organized by subject area, including: Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language and Culture. The Montessori materials in these areas promote the gradual layering of knowledge through repetition and practice. Children enjoy freedom of movement and choice to explore the materials in these areas and discover learning through hands-on experience. As children progress through the program, they develop concentration, social skills, care for the environment, community involvement, respect for others, and a strong academic foundation.
"Everything you say to your child is Absorbed, Catalogued and Remembered."
